The Opportunity
Boettcher Motors located in Bundamba are seeking an ambitious Dealership Accountant to join our team. This opportunity is open to all levels from Graduate to Experienced Professionals.
The Role
Our successful Accountant will be responsible for multiple brands. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be someone who is capable of monitoring and managing the financial and administrative aspects of the business, while ensuring each Dealership meets their financial obligations and conform to set procedures.
About You
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification is essential
- CA/CPA Qualification or working towards, preferred but not essential
- Dealership experience will be highly regarded but is not essential
- Highly analytical & organised with very strong attention to detail
- Strong business acumen, commercial awareness & reporting skills
- Excellent communication skills oral & written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the financial and administrative aspects of the business
- Ensure the Dealership meets its financial obligations and conform to set procedures
- Maintain an accurate set of accounts and produce the monthly results in a timely manner
- Produce accurate financial reports and reconciliations in a timely manner
- Prepare detailed budgets and monitor all costs and payments
- Ensure that recording and reporting procedures regulated by external bodies are adhered to
- Ensure all statutory returns are completed and lodged to the financial controller
- Assist the Financial Controller with the administration of the dealerships
- Ensure the vehicle processing systems enable timely and accurate results
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Adhoc tasks as directed by the Financial Controller
