Dealership Accountant Position Available!About Our Client:
Our client is a leading entity in the automotive sector, recognised for its dedication to excellence and an extensive array of automotive brands. With a history of innovation and quality, it is committed to driving forward with a passionate and skilled team. It is searching for a highly motivated Dealership Accountant to bolster its dynamic finance department.
About the role:
The successful candidate will be pivotal in overseeing the financial operations within one of our esteemed Automotive Dealerships. This role involves ensuring financial accuracy and compliance, preparing financial statements and forecasts, and contributing to the financial strategy and performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
- Developing and presenting monthly financial reports, offering strategic insights.
- Conducting audits to uphold financial data integrity and compliance with internal controls.
- Collaborating with management on budgeting, financial planning, and strategy execution.
- Liaising with external auditors and financial institutions as necessary.
- Enhancing financial systems and processes for increased efficiency.
- Providing financial guidance and support to dealership staff to promote a financially aware culture.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with CPA or similar qualification preferred.
- Demonstrable experience in a Dealership Accountant role or similar, with a strong understanding of Automotive Dealership operations.
- Advanced skills in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Exceptional analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with an aptitude for teamwork and collaboration.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
