As a Dealership Truck Pre-Delivery Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our trucks are in optimal condition before delivery, exceeding customer expectations every step of the way.
About the role:
- Manage the pre-delivery process, ensuring that all vehicles are thoroughly inspected, serviced, and prepared for delivery according to dealership standards.
- Coordinate and liaise with the relevant departments to ensure timely delivery of trucks to customers, maintaining open lines of communication throughout the process.
- Coordinate detailed truck inspections to identify mechanical or cosmetic issues, organising repairs with the service department as needed.
- Oversee and manage the cleaning and detailing of trucks to ensure the team understand the standards required to meet customer expectations.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
- Train and supervise your team of pre-delivery technicians and detailers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Promote a clean and organised pre-delivery area, ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are available and in good working order.
About you:
- Proven experience in a pre-delivery management capacity or service leadership role.
- Additionally, candidates with truck experience will have an advantage.
- Knowledge of the entire pre-delivery system, i.e., accessory fitment, detailing and the Pre-Delivery process.
- Experience/knowledge in truck modification, customisation and welding
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring all vehicles are thoroughly inspected and prepared to meet dealership standards.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and team members.
- Ability to lead and develop a team, demonstrating strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient computer skills, with the ability to utilise dealership software and systems for documentation and communication.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
