The Opportunity 

Bupa embarking on a new strategic direction that involves several strategic initiatives, significant changes in our ways of working alongside a recent restructure to support the delivery of BUPA’s vision of being the trusted preferred partner for healthcare providers. 

As an important member of the BUPA Team, this role will partner closely with the Workstream Lead, Initiative owner/s, business leaders across Bupa HI and Technology teams to deliver high quality, senior level project management services, support and experience to drive the BUPA strategic initiatives for our customers and providers. 

Given the number of initiatives, the scale and impact of the change program and the timeframe, this role will be required to manage multiple projects simultaneously and therefore must be a delivery focused leader. 

The strategic initiatives are both complex and cross functional in nature and encompass both business and technical systems change therefore the Senior Delivery Manager plays an important role in stakeholder management and engagement both within BUPA and beyond.

About You

Success in this key leadership role will require you to bring:

• 5+ years Project Management experience, including a minimum 2 years running large and complex projects.
• Experience running multiple projects in parallel with high complexity and multiple dependencies.
• Experience in leading change management within projects.
• Demonstrated experience in project status reporting, scheduling, dependency management, milestone tracking techniques, financial / budget management and risk management.
• Proven experience in detailed program scoping and implementation.
• Proven track record negotiating successful outcomes with Sponsors and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes at a senior level.
• Proven expertise in managing multiple stakeholders and technology teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive effective solutions and deliver business outcomes.
• Experience in Agile project delivery (and knowing when and how to best use it).
• Expert knowledge using and interpreting Microsoft Project (or another scheduling tool) and agile delivery tools (e.g., Azure Dev Ops, Confluence) is essential.
