And it's our expert Technology team who forge ahead every day to make those 'what ifs' a reality.About the roleThe Service Delivery Manager is a key member in the Service Delivery team working under a Service Delivery Executive to ensure the smooth operation of the IT applications that for that portfolio area.Scope includes all assets owned by Insurance Technology (partner or internally managed) as well as any supporting assets that are owned by the Insurance business.The Service Delivery Manager leads a Service Delivery team and is accountable for the full lifecycle of IT Service Delivery, including the initiation, transition and ongoing maintenance of the assets and platforms. Along with the overall operational delivery and performance of a group of services and/or platforms, to meet business/user needs.This role will support Suncorp's main Insurance Policy Administration System i.e. Protect application and also few other shared services applications within the Protect Policy platform.In addition, the successful candidate will be on call, on a rostered basis not just representing the policy platform but all assets in insurance tech.What you'll bring
- Project Management qualifications (PMBOK, Prince2, Agile) (desired)
- University degree or other professional qualification (desired)
- Membership of related professional bodies (such as Australian Institute of Project Managers, Australian Human Resources Institute, Australian Institute of Management, etc.) that can facilitate professional networking and continuous exposure to best practice in project management (desired)
- ITIL
- Minimum 5 years of Service Delivery (operations and run) experience across a diverse range of domains and processes
- Minimum 5 years in technology
