We are currently seeking a motivated Debt Arrangement Officer with great communciation and relationship building skills to join our team. Within this role you will build relationships with creditors, negotiate suitable Debt Arrangements.
This is a crucial role in helping people overcome debt and regain financial stability. By building strong relationships with creditors, you will deliver the best debt management solutions for our clients, empowering them to improve their situation and gain a life of financial freedom.
Responsibilities:
- Provide timely assistance and support to clients, creditors, and stakeholders.
- Negotiate and implement suitable Debt Arrangements based on clients' affordability and financial circumstances.
- Build rapport with creditors to ensure optimal consideration and attention for our clients.
- Promote the MyBudget service as a means to achieve effective debt management outcomes.
Requirements:
- Strong commitment to helping people overcome debt and improve their financial well-being.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Previous experience in customer service or a contact center environment.
- Experience in debt management (desirable)
- Cert IV in Financial Services (Desirable).
