What are we looking for?
We are seeking skilled and experienced Defence logistics staff (ILS Manager, Fleet Manager, Inventory Manager etc.) to lead and provide comprehensive logistics support.
If you have experience in the Defence or government supply chain area, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the creation and management of essential ILS documentation such as ILSC, ILSP, ILSI, ILS and support contract SOW and DIDs and DSDs.
- Offer expert guidance on the evaluation of contractual outputs (including, but not limited to: RPIL, RPL, MRSL).
- Contribute to the strategic planning of the ILS/Support program, including devising strategies, outlining concepts, and workforce planning.
- Deliver expert insights for the analysis, definition, and organisation of project implementation.
- Support inventory management using MILIS.
- Provide expert advice on material sustainability to senior management and during technical evaluations.
- Engage with both internal and external parties, including project managers, engineers, and clients, to ensure seamless execution of ILS tasks.
- Execute additional project support duties as requested by the project director.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess extensive ILS experience with a minimum of 7+ years' experience within Defence or Defence industry.
- Have a deep understanding of Defence logistics systems, tools and methodologies (MILIS, Predict, etc.).
- Proven ability in developing and managing ILS documentation and deliverables.
- Show proven experience with the current Capability Life Cycle (desirable).
- Demonstrated knowledge of ASDEFCON suite of templates (desirable).
- Exhibit outstanding skills in stakeholder engagement and communication.
