About you:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service with a proven track record of managing Defence assets. You will also bring your experience supervising a team including training, mentoring and performance development.
To be considered for this position you will have:
- Experience in the use of a Defence Inventory Management Systems, with proven ability to analyse material management reports and information
- Proven experience leading a team providing effective guidance, mentoring, and training to other employees
- Demonstrated ability in managing and delivering projects involving multiple stakeholders and departments
- Strong understanding of Customer Support requirements
- Experience in the planning of material management and equipment associated within a technically complex program
- Strong relationship building skills with the ability to form creative partnerships to identify issues, drive innovation and obtain consensus.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) including an ability to prepare and present concise oral and written reports, briefings, updates and other documentation, and represent the organisation externally on significant matters.

Your responsibilities will include:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Defence Customer Support Supervisor to join our Logistics Operations Team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our Royal Australian Navy customer whilst managing a team of Customer Support representatives.
]The primary focus of this role will include (not limited to):
- Supervision and mentoring individual team members
- Providing effective leadership ensuring all business and customer requirements are met
- Managing Defence Logistics Governance and MILIS requirements
- Managing Customer Priority Demands System
- Liaising with Royal Australian Navy and other Defence stakeholders
- Management of DR & Disposals
- Coordination of deployable asset spare requirements
- Management of 24-hour Customer Support services
- Develop and deliver reports to all stakeholders
