We are currently looking for a highly motivated, passionate retail leader interested in a Delicatessen Manager role in our Gordonvale store. 

You will be hands-on in your approach and enjoy physical work; ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved. You will be required to work a rotational roster which may include nights, weekends and public holidays.

Experience:

• Experience working in a Fresh department
• Previous supervisory experience, to lead a small to medium team
• Ability to drive sales ,achieve budgets and exceed targets
• Knowledge and experience with WH&S and safety requirements
• Experience in training and coaching other team members

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills ,able to communicate clearly and negotiate with people from different backgrounds and roles
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft skills
• Good literacy and numeracy skills (for example: ability to calculate hours, conduct stocktakes, comprehend company policies
• Excellent Customer Service skills

Preferred

• Delicatessen, produce or fresh food experience strongly preferred
• Retail industry experience
• Food Safety Supervisor certificate
