About Us
We are principally a boutique Chartered Accounting practice with great family values, however we also have interests in a few different businesses which requires an energetic administrator to manage our time, as well as some of our Client’s bookkeeping activities.
Our expectation is this role will (in time) progress to a Practice Management role within our firm.
About You
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administration support role – preferably in a professional services firm - however not essential;
- Naturally highly organised – and pedantic with detail;
- Great communication skills – you will be able to talk to anyone, build strong relationships across our practice, clients and other businesses. Importantly, you will be approachable;
- Experienced to an intermediate level with the Xero accounting system;
- With training, you will become the “the guru” of the vast array of administrative and professional software systems utilised within our practice;
- Efficient, organised, careful, driven and outcome focused.
The Role
- Email & diary management;
- Setting appointments and confirming with attendees prior to meetings;
- Attending to client bookkeeping duties. You will be “hands on” working on a small number of bookkeeping engagements;
- Managing ongoing client corporate governance (ASIC) requirements;
- Invoicing clients within the practice;
- Managing engagement and onboarding of new clients and annual reviews of engagement terms and conditions;
- Scheduling and managing events (occasional);
- Managing inbound and outbound communication with clients;
- Managing and implementing the practice’s social media strategies;
- Assisting the Directors in anything (large or small) which crop up from time to time.
