In this role, you will get to:

  • Lead and manage a team of test data management professionals comprising both vendors and permanent staff.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of test data management services, ensuring timely and high-quality provision of test data to support various testing activities across the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including project managers, test managers, business analysts, and developers, to understand their test data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain effective processes and procedures for test data provisioning, including data generation, masking, sub setting, and refresh activities.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the bank's data landscape, including data sources, data models, and regulatory requirements, to effectively manage test data environments.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of test data management services.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to test data management, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure that hygiene issues with the teams are managed and monitored closely. This includes mandatory learnings, timesheet management and associated aspects.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on test data management, providing guidance and support to team members and stakeholders as needed.
  • Knowledge of implementing test data management tool in a large enterprise is highly desirable. Experience with implementation of the tool for mainframe applications as well as midrange applications is required.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in test data management and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.

Capgemini Testing Service Line provides Testing and related Environment/DevOps services to various financial clients. This service produces clearly identifiable results, notably the reduction in the cost of software development and maintenance by up to 30%, enhanced quality levels, improved time to market, and importantly mitigation of technical and business risks.
Let’s talk about your capability and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in test data management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing large-scale test data management initiatives in a complex organizational environment, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of test data management concepts, methodologies, and tools, including data masking, sub setting, synthetic data generation, and data profiling.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in test data management or related areas preferred.
