Delivery Lead/Manager
PLEASE NOTE - THIS ROLE REQUIRES YOU TO BE BASED IN SYDNEY AND HAVE FULL WORKING RIGHTS
Rate: $1000-1050 per day, including super
Duration: 6 months initially (with extensions)

Location: Sydney (hybrid working - 2days in the office)
Client:
Our client is an established Australian organisation which has recently kicked off a major digital transformation and they are looking for an experienced Delivery Lead to come on board and assist!
Responsibilities:
- Seek, contribute and lead opportunities to deliver improvements to company's delivery model that will improve efficiency
- Engage with project sponsors, business owners, product owners and stakeholders to enable requirements development and develop initiative plans
- Deliver initiatives on time, within budget and ensure deliverables meet business requirements. Ensure any variations from initial initiative targets are agreed to by the appropriate Product Owner
- Champion the use of agile, ensuring the theory, practices and events are understood and used to maximum value
- Manage the implementation of measurements to ensure that outcomes of any delivery, including the delivery model itself, are measurable and results will contribute to company's strategic goals
- Propose and implement solutions/mitigations to manage for delivery issues and risks.
- Escalate issues/risks for resolution as required
- Co-ordinate and facilitate Scrum activities including, daily stand ups, sprint planning sessions, backlog refinement, release planning sessions, sprint retrospectives and showcases
- Support and coach the Product Owner to ensure the business initiative backlog is in good shape and prepared for the next sprint.
Your experience
- Proven experience managing and delivering digital solutions
- Previous experience as a dedicated Scrum Master in an Agile environment
- Experience with driving delivery with a geographically distributed multi-functional delivery team and stakeholders
- Experience with concepts such as Waterfall, Agile, XP, Kanban, Scrum, DevOps & CI/CD
- Experience with introducing, advocating and improving tools necessary for collaborating, tracking, workflows, monitoring and reporting on delivery and processes
- Strong skills in facilitation, situation awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment and driving transparency
- Proficiency with Adobe Suite, Coding tools, Atlassian Suite, Microsoft OS and Office Suites
- Knowledge of the importance of code quality, impacts of technical debt and applicable technologies used by the team
- Strong verbal communication skills (written and verbal) within a high energy, demanding, ever changing environment
- Proven ability to adapt to the changing needs and priorities of the business, and prioritise workload accordingly
