Our work will take you in different directions
We are looking for aDelivery Operations Manager (Major Projects) join our Delivery Operations team based in Mascot, NSW. This is a dynamic and hands on position reporting to the Head of Delivery, NSW. You will lead and inspire an Operations team in NSW and drive results through quality and profitable execution of the delivery of Major Projects within your portfolio. Your approach to leadership and your focus on customer satisfaction will directly contribute to KONE’s business objectives.
What will you be doing?
- Build a culture that embraces quality, safety and excellence in project delivery
- Lead and develop a dynamic and mobile operations team
- Support in managing Tier 1 builders relating to complex construction of Major Projects
- Partner with key stakeholders to proactively manage capacity constraints and resourcing
- Add value to customer’s projects with seamless and reliable project delivery
- Create meaningful relationships with your leadership team, regional directors, and functional heads
- Drive profitable, reliable and efficient project management practices in line with KONE methods
- Organise and drive regular portfolio and operational reviews to manage project and installation performance
What are we looking for?
- Demonstrated prior success within construction management
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred
- Prior working experience within the elevator industry highly desired
- Business partnering and leadership skills
- Contract, planning and financial management experience with a strong focus on managing project cost and revenue
- Skilled at strategic business planning, governance and project-management
- Ability to navigate and influence peers and stakeholders through a matrix work environment
- A winning attitude with an outside-in thinking mindset.
