We’re currently looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual to join our team as Demand Planner for our Home Entertainment business unit. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a degree in business, commerce or logistics and ideally a couple of years’ experience in a demand/supply chain role. A love for numbers is a must!
About the role:
Maximising Stock Efficiencies:
- Daily management of stock & allocations
- Attending key internal meetings with reports and information on incoming / sellable stock
- Analysing sales trends and stock levels at store level to recommend appropriate replenishment orders for buyer approval
- Working with the Account Management team to maximise effectiveness of the promotional program
- Providing recommendations to move stock from unproductive to productive locations
- Coordination & communication with our factory
Forecasting Process:
- Monitoring volumes and trends, product mix against agreed forecast targets
- Attend Sales Manager and Buyers meetings to understand activity plans and contribute insightful data to verify effects of proposed sell through promotions
- Preparing customer forecasts based on the latest sell-thru and stock on hand data
About you:
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with SAP ideal
- Commerce, business or logistics qualification or similar which has covered purchasing, planning and/or forecasting concepts and tasks
- Experience in an administrative/operational role is welcomed
- Ability to deal effectively and develop strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders
- Highly motivated and driven, with excellent time management, problem solving & decision making abilities
- Ability to prioritise and work efficiently within a team
- Exceptional attention to detail
