Thanks to this consistent growth and upcoming transformation projects, they have a newly created opportunity for an experienced Supply and Inventory Planner to join their Supply Chain team and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
The Role:
Reporting to the S&OP Manager, this crucial role will be responsible for all Supply and Inventory planning activities for the region, whilst supporting the coordination of key operational activities and ensuring best practice Supply and Inventory Planning.
Duties will include:
- Managing physical & transactional inventory (4000 SKU’s) from goods receipt through to saleable items
- Conducting daily cycle counts, scrap & goods movement for Finished goods, raw materials, WIP & packaging
- Dealing with freight forwarders and generating shipment reports
- Ensuring shipments are completed and fully booked in
- Reconciling stock levels at 3PL (third party logistics) warehouses in Sydney and Perth
- Overseeing the accuracy & confirmation of export volumes & interstate stock transfers
- Raising sample requests
- Coordinating and reporting on the annual stock take
- Preparing weekly & monthly Cycle Count reports for the business
- Overseeing the warehouse management of promotion packs
- Identifying, investigating and resolving stock discrepancies and implementing process or procedure improvements to eliminate waste
- Analysing data on scheduled outputs to evaluate areas of supply chain operations that require improvement.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the Supply Chain, fostering a culture of operational excellence.
- Supporting various projects within the Supply Chain domain
Your Profile:
To be successful in this role you will have a number of years’ experience in Supply Planning and Inventory Control, ideally within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and a solid understanding of how your role impacts the production process. It is essential you have previous experience working in SAP, WMS, and have Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills. You have strong reconciliation and problem-solving abilities, have an exceptional eye for detail and excellent organisational and time management skills.
In addition, you are a self-motivated and reliable team member, have excellent communication skills and enjoy taking ownership of your work and proactively managing your workflow. Your positive approach, high level of flexibility and passion for continuous improvement will see you succeed in this exciting opportunity with this rapidly growing, international icon in their respected field.
