We are currently looking for an experienced and passionate Demi Chef de Partie to join us at Darwin Convention Centre on a 7-Month Contract!
This role is an integral member of the Kitchen staff, catering quality food product to the guests of the Darwin Convention Centre.
This roles responsibilities are:
- Preparation and service of all food products as directed by the Executive Chef
- Supervision of Catering Assistants
- Maintain clean and hygienic work area
- Comply with storage and stock rotation procedures as directed, to minimise wastage
- Receiving of goods
- Conduct and record internal stock transfers as directed
- Comply with Monika Temperature & Task Procedures
- Comply with ISO 22000 requirements

You will:
- Have a Trade Qualification in Cooking
- Be a minimum of two years post apprenticeship
- Be able to demonstrate skills and knowledge required of trade qualifications
- Have knowledge of current Workplace Health and Safety procedures
- Desirably have exposure to banqueting and supervision of staff
- Be an excellent communicator
- Have excellent personal presentation and grooming
- Be able to meet deadlines while working under pressure
- Have the proven ability to use initiative
- Have a willingness to work as a team member
- Be attentive to detail
- Have flexibility with hours
A satisfactory National Police Records Check is required for this role.
