Maxima, and our Host Employer, are looking for a dedicated individual to undertake an entry-level Dental Assistant Traineeship.
Located in the southern suburbs of Adelaide, this parttime opportunity is great for those who love working with people, thrive working under pressure and are looking for a gateway into the dental industry.
Gain on-the-job training and mentoring from experienced professionals as well as paid study towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Dental Assisting.
Duties Include:
- Offer patient care leading up to and during the appointment
- Provide chair side support during oral procedures
- Assist to explain treatment procedures and after care to patients
- Sterilise dental instruments
- Prepare equipment for appointments
- Record and maintain patient information
- Genuine interest in dentistry
- Can build rapport with a variety of individuals
- Strong work ethic; reliable and punctual
- Works effectively as part of a team and under limited supervision
- Efficient organisational and time management skills
- Comfortable working under pressure
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical assessment
- Covid-19 vaccinations (or willing to obtain)
- Background Clearances (or willing to obtain)
- Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft packages
