Coys Constructions is a Custom New Home, Renovation and Passive House specialist servicing the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. With over 20 years of combined experience in building breathtaking homes, our projects range from renovations, extensions, and knock down rebuilds across Melbourne. With our strong reputation, the majority of our work is derived through referrals.
Due to rapid growth and with our strong pipeline of work, we are seeking an Accounts Officer to join our successful team.
Reporting to the Director, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Processing fortnightly payroll including timesheet reviews
- Accounts reconciliation of payables and receivables
- Work closely with external CFO and Accountant
- Processing all invoices including suppliers and subcontractors
- Processing all client invoices in line with contracts and Master Builders requirements
- General administration duties where required
To be successful in the role, you will require the below. The ideal candidate will have:
- Understanding of the building industry and previous experience would be an advantage
- Proficiency in Xero and MS Office
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with Profit and Loss reports and Balance sheets
- Knowledge of budget vs actuals reports
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
