Busy Dental Practice with Three Treatment Rooms, Focus on Dental Rehabs and Dental Implants

Job Description: We are currently seeking a motivated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Your responsibilities will include managing patient appointments, handling inquiries, processing payments, and maintaining accurate patient records. Additionally, you will assist with administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments using our practice management software - Dental 4 Windows
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
• Manage patient records and ensure confidentiality and accuracy of information
• Process payments and assist with insurance claims as needed
• Coordinate with clinicians to optimize scheduling and ensure efficient patient flow
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Dental Receptionist or administrative role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with dental practice management software (e.g., D4W, Oasis, Exact)
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is an asset
