Highbury Dental Care is a vibrant and welcoming fast paced, spacious multi chair dental practice located north-east of the city. We are seeking a receptionist whom is patient orientated, reliable, punctual and honest to fill a casual/part-time role. We are a modern facilitated practice, offering a range of general dentistry.
Our team are dedicated and passionate about delivering excellence in patient care, with a personalised, positive and caring manner to provide the ultimate patient experience each and every time. We have a great compassionate and supportive team with excellent work ethics. No weekend work required as we only open Monday – Friday and value a great work/life balance.
The role will suit someone who is enthusiastic and confident seeking a long-term position with our practice. The right candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of general dentistry and enjoy working in a practice where their experience would be valued and appreciated. Training will be provided.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Your role will include but not be limited to:
Delivering exceptional patient care
Meeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impression
Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
Proficient with all aspects of general dentistry
Assisting with administrative tasks
Processing HICAPS and EFTPOS payments
Work efficiently with team members
Requirements
This role is suited for a person who has a positive attitude and who has a vested interest in quality patient care of each and every patient
As a successful candidate, you will need to possess the following skills/attributes:
A passion to work and grow in the dental industry
Must be available to work flexible hours during the week – no weekend required
Highly motivated and passionate person with a can-do attitude
Caring and compassionate, with a sense of humour
Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
Impeccable communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
