Who are we?
Cowra Dental Group is a state-of-the-art general dental clinic situated in scenic Cowra, NSW located around 4.25 hours west of Sydney and 2.5 hours north of Canberra. We are looking a for competent, caring and motivated dentist to join our existing team with mentoring provided for less experienced dentists.
Our clinic provides a comprehensive range of services to our patients including all aspects of general, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, wisdom teeth removal and dental implants. The public identity of the town has been changed and enriched by the Cowra breakout of 1944 (in which 378 Japanese prisoners of war attempted to escape from a local camp) and the subsequent developing and deep associations with Japan. This dramatic trauma in the history of the district has led the town to focus on and promote the values of pacifism and internationalism. The Japanese Garden, the Japanese cemetery, the Sakura Walk at cherry blossom time, the remnants of the POW camp and the World Peace Bell are all reminders of the town's importance both during the war and after the war as a benchmark of healing and reconciliation.

What does this opportunity look like?
- Our clinic utilizes modern technologies such as CEREC, CBCT, medit i700 scanner, 3-d printing, rotary endodontics, digital x-rays, intra-oral and DSLR cameras to provide optimal patient care in a comfortable and relaxing clinical setting to our patients
- We are also the preferred provider clinic for Westfund, HCF, NIB, CBHS and Medibank
- You will be exposed to a wide range of patients covering all aspects of general dentistry, including dental implants, wisdom teeth removal and orthodontics and clear aligners.
- The commission structure is competitive and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to generate a fantastic income which is a by product of providing comprehensive dentistry to a clientele with significant dental needs.
- Expected remuneration is between 150k-350k for experienced candidates depending on the range and types of procedures performed and days worked at the clinic.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience preferred but not essential (open to new grads)
- Someone looking to START immediately
- Someone with a warm, approachable and empathetic personality with articulate communication skills
- Keen attitude to learn and further develop yourself personally and professionally
- Someone who has a high-level understanding of health and safety requirements and puts their patients first.
- Current AHPRA and ADA certifications
