About the role
A rare opportunity for an experienced Parts Manager to join the team at CMI Toyota West Terrace. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations, people leadership, sales and other KPIs of the parts department. You will oversee a team of approximately 30 employees, including an Assistant Manager.
Duties & responsibilities
- Develop appropriate marketing programs to assist in the achievement of financial targets
- Drive quality effective processes to ensure manufacturer quality standards are adhered to
- Regularly review and analyse department performance
- Ensure manufacturer/franchise relations are maintained to the highest standards
- Oversee and maintain with maximum accuracy all clerical functions within the department
- Ensure customer service matters are dealt with promptly and efficiently
- Regularly review targets and results and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Regularly review and maintain sensible fair pricing structures
- Ensure all records of the department are kept in accordance with company policy and legislative requirements

- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Demonstrated business acumen
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent written, verbal and time management skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and software programs
