What you'll be doing
The Departmental Secretary is responsible in providing secretarial support for the departmental areas of the Royal North Shore Hospital. The position provides administrative support including, booking, billings, diary management, transcription of reports, collation and analysis of documentation however is not limited to the duties. These positions are required to supply support to a multidisciplinary area and are not limited to a specific speciality.
The position is to provide support, and advice for the smooth administrative functioning with in the required area under the direction of the Manager of the corresponding level and the direction of the Patient Services and Information Unit.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

- Capacity to work under minimal supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment.
- Demonstrated high level customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
