About the role:

The objective of the Energy Solutions Deployment team is to support our energy offering to ensure we continue to meet the ongoing needs of our customers. The Deployment Support and Project Control Manager ensures the effective, dynamic, and efficient provision of project support services to the Australian and New Zealand Deployment teams across Public and Business Solutions segments for all e-Mobility, Solar and Battery storage projects.

This role provides support to the Head of Energy Solutions Deployment to enable the group's ability in the Australian and New Zealand market to be agile in nature, customer centric in decision making, and executes with speed and quality. You will be reporting to the Head of Energy Solutions Deployment (ANZ) as well as working cross-functionally with other Energy Solutions functions.

Your role will be to Support and ensure our Deployment teams deliver to desired completion and within approved cost, schedule quality and performance.

Key responsibilities:

Manage, develop and implement deployment / project support strategies across the team that:

• Contribute to the delivery of the Energy Solutions Deployment Plan (AU & NZ)
• Drive activities that directly support consistency, standard and scalability of the Deployment function.
• Lead sub workstreams of continuous improvement, contract management, architectural Support and Project administration
• Systematically and proactively identify project service processes which will drive efficient project delivery
• Drives collaboration with Energy Value Chain functions and the wider Energy Solutions Group,
• Manage the workload, performance and development of the team. Provides constructive feedback and coaching on a regular basis
• Monitor overall project / assignment progress status, achievement and non-achievement of major milestones and analyse and forecast performance in relation to plan
• Ensures accurate reporting of all capital forecasting requirements and key project health checks for all project phases across multiple projects/programs
• Drives innovative, sustainable, and efficient solutions.

About you:

You demonstrate a nimble and proactive mindset and the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders including vendors, business owners, customers, government, and internal teams to achieve the strategic goals of the organisation.

We are ideally looking for an outcome focused Project Control Manager with previous experience in end-to-end Project management; developing and implementing policies and procedures, construction management systems and Project reporting who is supported by Tertiary qualifications in business, engineering, or other related discipline with demonstrated ability to identify and drive change and performance, through a culture of continuous improvement.

Key skills and experience:

• 10+ years' practical experience as a project manager supporting or leading the delivery of physical built form projects.
• Qualifications in project management, engineering (civil, electrical, construction) or business is desirable.
• Sound understanding and experience with finance reporting requirements and assurance processes of large scale projects
• Demonstrated strong and effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong MS Office capabilities i.e. Project, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience in SAP
• Experience of working in a flexible, faced paced environment, able to adapt to change and open to new ideas and approaches.
