Depot Manager

As a leading ecommerce & 3PL company with facilities in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Auckland and India, we are currently recruiting a Perth Depot Manager for our Welshpool facility, this is a permanent role.

As the Depot Manager, you will need to be able to manage up to 10 employees and work in a high volume , reactive environment, dealing with multiple clients and a diverse product range.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery of daily KPIs for management
• Managing the receiving, put away and processing of freight
• Accurate management of labour requirements to minimise costs including rostering
• Control pick rates and efficient warehouse layout to optimise efficiencies
• Leading and supporting warehouse staff in performing their roles to the expected standard and ensure staff understand all facets of warehouse requirements.
• Management of a licensed customs bond
• Management of RACA screening and export requirements
• Ensure all OH&S procedures are followed
• Staff training and process improvement

To be successful in the role you will have:

• 5+ years experience working as a Warehouse Supervisor/ Manager
• Cost management experience
• Previous experience in a Logistics / Air Freight environment.
• Current forklift license
• Experience in the E commerce sector
• WMS / RF Scanning experience
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Experience working with Custom and AQIS
• Experience working in a bonded warehouse
