Our clients are from diverse regions. 70% come from Europe whilst 30% are Australian based travellers. We work with European wholesalers and inbound tourism providers. We also take direct bookings from clients and therefore much of our interaction with clients occurs from their first booking enquiry.

This seasonal role from April - October, will be responsible for managing operations and logistics for the fleet and conducting vehicle demonstrations to clients in Broome. The successful candidate will be required to undertake or arrange repairs, cleaning, quality control, and provide advice and support to clients using the vehicles. This role will also be required to ensure the Broome Depot is maintained as a clean, tidy and safe environment for clients and other Employees.
Key accountabilitiesVehicle demonstrations and customer service
- Providing pre-hire demonstration of vehicles to clients
- Provide high levels of customer service to clients, providing solutions to any problems they may experience with the vehicles
- Taking delivery of vehicles after hires
Cleaning, maintenance and repair of fleet
- Cleaning and turnaround of vehicles and equipment
- Conduct minor repairs and maintenance to vehicles and equipment
- Conducting quality control of all RedSands equipment
Managing time and effectiveness
- Manage own workflow by having systems in place to identify priorities and schedule work to achieve these outcomes
- Recruitment and management of casual staff to ensure operations is staffed adequately during busy periods
Health and safety management
- Identify any health and safety issues with the fleet and/or equipment that may impact upon employees or clients
- Know and document the hazards associated with own work and control risks by undertaking necessary training and following safe work practices

- Demonstrated experience in delivering high quality products and services to clients

- Ability to perform minor mechanical repairs under guidance from Head of Operations
- Ability to perform physical duties
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised
- Conflict management and resolution skills
- Unrestricted current Drivers Licence
- Ability to travel interstate and intrastate, to assist at other RedSands depots, if required.
Desirable
- Working knowledge of Rental Car Manager (RCM)vehicle management system
- Ability to speak German, French, Dutch or Belgian
- Flexibility in work hours and/or location.
