Role Description
As Depot Manager it is your responsibility to provide management and operational support for the Clean Vibes/ KARI Depot taking responsibility for a number of key tasks for both general business and operational specific requirements, reporting to the CDS VIC operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities – Administration and Planning
Under the overall direction of the OM you are responsible for providing general administrative and operational support with particular responsibility for the following tasks:
- Assist with the preparation of staff rosters and communicating these to the employees.
- Ensure all staff are rostered within the Deputy.
- Complete staff information and on-site briefings when required. Preparation of stand-by lists and contacting staff when necessary to fill shifts.
- Ensure all timesheets are captured and received each fortnight, that all timesheets are correctly entered into deputy and approved prior to the fortnightly pay cycle.
- Full ownership of job tracking.
- Responsible for daily cash reconciliation and record keeping.
- Management, booking and tracking of all depot waste and truck movements.
- Assist the junior accountant with the processing of customer invoices.
- Monitor and action depot email address.
- Ensuring the depot is fully cleaned by all depot staff on shift to the appropriate standards.
- Uniform management and laundry arrangements to ensure all uniforms are ready for distribution and we have the correct number of uniforms.
- Assisting with business development activities when required.
Please note that the required training for this role will take place at the Melton site.
To be successful for this role you must be a problem solver and critical thinker. Ideally possess a forklift license and a first aid certificate.
