Program Background
The Kemitraan Indonesia Australia untuk Infrastruktur (KIAT) is a 10-year facility supported by the Australian Government and implemented by DT Global. KIAT’s overarching goal is to support ‘sustainable and inclusive economic growth through improved access to infrastructure for all people’. To support this goal, KIAT works with the Government of Indonesia (GoI), Government of Australia, the private sector, Multilateral Development Banks (MDB) and other development partners, as well as civil society to help achieve the following outcomes:
1. Improved GoI policy and regulatory framework for infrastructure development.
2. High quality projects prepared and financed by GoI, the private sector and / or MDBs.
3. High quality infrastructure delivery, management, and maintenance by GoI.
4. Infrastructure policies, design and delivery are more inclusive for women and people with disabilities.
5. Improved policy, planning and design results in lower-emission, more climate-resilient infrastructure.
The initial focus of KIAT is on the following areas: Water and Sanitation; Transport; Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI); and Infrastructure Funding and Financing. KIAT is also expanding its infrastructure activities in the areas of climate change, urbanisation and private sector participation.

The Role
The position leads the implementation of KIAT’s GEDSI Strategy (2022-26), oversights day-to-day management of GEDSI-related activity design and implementation, and ensures strategic alignment and cooperation with other development partners, including engagement with civil society.

About You
· Annual review and updates as necessary to KIAT’s GEDSI Strategy (2022-26).
· Activity concept notes, terms of references / description of services, procurement and recruitment support documentation, and management reporting covering monitoring and evaluation, safeguards, and risks.
· Activity progress reporting (weekly and six-monthly), and contributions to KIAT reports including amongst others: the six-monthly Biannual Performance and Planning Reports, six-monthly performance progress-marker reporting, Engagement Strategies, annual Investment Monitoring Report drafts, annual Performance Assessment Framework (PAF) reporting including any Significant Policy Changes.
· Briefing notes and presentations on GEDSI, including civil society engagement.
· Quality assurance and final certification of activity reports including endorsement of subcontractor deliverables.

Remuneration
Based on DFAT standard ARF rates (assessed as ARF classification D4). Successful Indonesian nationals will be engaged under a local contract in IDR, and will be subject to Indonesian employment regulations and tax obligations.
