About the position:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to join our Senior School Leadership Team. The Deputy Head of Senior School supports the Deputy Headmaster/ Head of Senior School in providing both strategic and day to day leadership of Pastoral Care and Wellbeing in the Senior School. The Deputy Head of Senior School is a member of the Senior School Leadership Team (SSLT) and is delegated to exercise direct responsibility and oversight for ensuring the School delivers an exceptional pastoral care experience for all students.
This role also includes a 0.4 teaching load that will be determined by the Deputy Headmaster - Teaching and Learning.
This is a 5-year tenured Senior School leadership position, with a guaranteed permanent teaching position at the contract conclusion. This role is to commence at the beginning of the 2025 School Year.

As the successful applicant you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- South Australian WWCC, South Australian Teachers Registration,
- Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) – Fundamentals & Masterclass certificates.
- Demonstrated ability to work cohesively and productively as part of a team and community.
- Demonstrated leadership and the capacity to nurture a high performing team is desirable
- Ability to prioritise multifaceted tasks and respond to changing requirements of the role.
- Strong interpersonal skills with clear ability to work effectively with a range of people including students, staff, parents and community.
