About the Role:
In this role, the successful applicant will play a vital role in delivering the strategic vision of the school and the department. The leadership of the Deputy Principal is critical to improving the educational outcomes of students in their schools.
The successful applicant will lead the Futures portfolio which is a pivotal role in Senior Schooling, with responsibility for tertiary, industry and corporate partnerships.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Educational leadership as a member of the Wavell State High School Executive Leadership team who lead our community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision.
- Leadership through school and individual values for the nominated portfolio
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Model exemplary standards for student and staff contribution, progress and performance
- Initiate partnerships with members of our local community, tertiary, corporate and industry.
