About the role
We are looking to engage an experienced Employment Consultant, on a fixed term contract of 15 weeks (covering extended leave) to case manage a caseload and assist people with disabilities to find and maintain open employment.
About you
To thrive in this fast-paced role, you will be highly organised and proactive. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include: -
Ability to manage a case load of clients at our Fairfield site.
Build relationships with employers and create and maintain a database of vacancies.
Assist clients to address vocational and non-vocational barriers to employment and mentor clients to maintain sustainable employment.
Work with participants to overcome their barriers, refer to appropriate local service providers to address participants barriers to employment. Prepare participants to ensure they are job ready.
Undertake and adhere to the most recent DES Guidelines at all times.
In addition, you will have:
Unrestricted NSW Driver’s License
Employment Services Foundation skills.
Demonstrated skill in sales and management of case loads
Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate at all levels
Excellent time management and organisation skills
Strong administrations skills
Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
Prior experience in a similar role
Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work
It is also a condition of employment that employees who are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccination must be fully vaccinated and comply with current COVID-19 booster vaccinations in order to perform duties at any of our workplaces.
