You've got life experience. You may have spent time working in the community sector. But first and foremost, you have a genuine passion to make a difference where employment can change the life of candidates by creating independence and inclusion.
Sound like you? Then please, read on…
At Omnia Inclusive Employment, we're all about people.
As an organisation, our focus is on helping disadvantaged people find sustainable, satisfying employment, using a holistic, big-picture approach. But our vision of putting people first doesn't stop there: our positive, social working culture, opportunities for learning and professional development, and reward and recognition programs all go some way towards demonstrating just how much we value each and every member of our team.
So as a Career Consultant at Omnia Inclusive, what will a day in your life involve?
Your role plays a critical part in ensuring Omnia Inclusive candidates are supported and fully understand the employment preparation and placement requirements and pathways available to them
Working closely with Business Relationship Consultants and Workplace Consultants, together the focus will be able to reverse-market your caseload of candidates by collaborating with employers to ensure they can provide a supportive work environment committed to their success. And in turn talk about all the great things they have to offer with the aim of creating opportunities for mutually-beneficial, sustainable matches.
Who are we looking for?
You're a person who sees value in all people, knowing how they can best reach their full potential in a way that brings satisfaction to them and their eventual employers. You'll need to be able to empathise, encourage and inspire in equal measure. Sometimes this will involve you in collaborating with external business partners such as allied health professionals, to create individual plans that allow your candidates to progress and thrive.
What will you need?
Your stellar communication and customer service skills will shine in this role. You'll be a great problem-solver, able to think outside the box. Occasional emotional challenges are an inherent part of this role. You may not have a formal qualification, and that's OK! We're looking for people who have had either life or working experience in supporting disadvantaged individuals and have experience achieving targets and KPI's
This job is for those who want to make a difference, the sense of reward and satisfaction will eclipse any challenge: this is where the magic happens.
And we'll take care of you. In addition to your competitive salary, you'll have access to salary packaging. You'll have the opportunity to take advantage of flexible working arrangements. And you'll earn some skills, too: there'll be opportunities for learning and development along the way. Best of all, if you'd like to progress further one day, you'll be happy to know that we promote from within.
