About the engagement:Green Light are looking for a Desktop Engineer to join our delivery team to provide quality onsite support to end users, break & fix and VIP support.
Responsibilities:
- Engaged in the deployment and generalist support of Win 10 and O365
- Troubleshoot desktop/laptop and devices
- Support for standard EUC applications - AV, VPN, Adobe, Java etc.
- Package applications in a timely manner for deployment to a Windows 7 and Windows 10 platform.
- Participate in the continual improvement cycle by delivering improvements to processes and technologies used by the Application Packaging team.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in the following systems and technologies: SCCM, SOE, SCOM, AD, O365, Windows 10 SOE, VDI, Citrix as well as client virtualization.
- Packaging Software into MSI format.
- Modern application sequencing technologies such as App-V.
- Microsoft PowerShell and/or visual basic scripting technologies.
- Application whitelisting.
- Device control technologies.
- Thick and Thin client Operating System Deployment.
- Ability to manage customer and stakeholder relationships effectively.
