Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Desktop Support Engineer to join their growing IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing first-line technical support to end-users across the organization.
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues to ensure smooth operation.
- Configuring and deploying desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Responding to user inquiries via phone, email, and in-person support.
- Documenting and escalating complex issues to senior IT staff.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all IT assets are properly tracked.
- Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of IT processes.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Desktop Support role.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Proficiency with troubleshooting techniques for hardware and software issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with users.
- A customer-centric approach and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team environment.
