As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' IT systems. You will be responsible for providing both Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and delivering outstanding customer service.
About the role
As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' IT systems. You will be responsible for providing both Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Based in Perth - client a large mining organisation.
- 8 days onsite for a 12hour shift typically 6am-6pm and 6 days offsite. FIFO experience is desired.
- Operation desktop environment support
- Provision of 2nd/3rd level Desktop Support across multiple, regional mine sites
- Management of incidents and requests
- Experience in Microsoft support environment, SCCM and Intune
- Be visible to our customers on site. This includes regularly attending pre starts and getting to know the supervisors of particular areas.
- Ability to work autonomously and individually in remote mining areas with minimal supervision.
- Strong focus on customer service
- A driver's license is a must for this position, as you will be providing support to few sites.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role, with Level 1 and Level 2 support experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 and M365
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange, and networking concepts.
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software problems with Laptops, tablets, mobile phones
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
