Our Opal Maryvale Paper Mill has a new opportunity available for a Despatch Manager to join the Planning and Logistics team. Reporting to the Planning and Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for managing all activities within the Maryvale despatch warehouses.
In this role you will work collaboratively with the team to despatch product from Maryvale to domestic and overseas customers.
Your focus will be to:
- Drive safety performance for all despatch points across the Maryvale Mill site
- Take responsibility for storage and inventory control of finished product
- Lead and manage all warehouse team members and contractors
- Actively support the management and improvement of truck turnaround times, including management of time slots and picking/staging practices
- Monitor orders and operator to improve reliability of on time performance
- Ensure our finished product is dispatched in a condition which meets quality expectations of our customer

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;
- Extensive logistics, warehousing or production experience
- Previous experience working on SAP Logistics Execution (LE) and Warehouse Management (WM) modules
- Experience in managing site safety specifically with mobile equipment and CoR compliance
- Working knowledge of planning and logistics processes
- Ability to communicate and engage with a wide range of stakeholders
