Despatch Team Leader

Your Role

The role of full-time Despatch Team Leaderis responsible for supervising the day-to-day operational activity of outbound goods. It takes responsibility for the end-to-end fulfilment process and overseas the online pick pack team. Responsibility is also given to assist with the facilitation of Wholesale orders, ensuring high attention to detail and accuracy.

Main Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of warehouse pickers to effectively pick, stage, load, and replenish stock based on agreed KPIs.
• Must have a safety mindset as will be responsible for running daily toolbox talks.
• Supervising all good outwards operations, including scan packing connotes generation.
• Preparing all necessary documents for international shipments
• Arranging collection of daily outbound pallets with domestic courier partners
• Training and supervising any additional staff at packing stations.
• Liaising with head office for any special despatch requests, including quotations
• Arranging reverse logistics / events
• Liaising with head office for any day-to-day 'special requests'
• Printing pick runs and managing workload for all warehouse staff, as well as prioritising orders.
• Tracking and resolving missing and/or delayed shipments
• Monitoring and supervising the successful known consignor program.
• Monitor, control, and maintain an SLA (Service Level Agreed) outbound target of shipments being completed in under 48 hours.
• Review monthly reporting/KPIs with the Warehouse Manager

To Succeed

• You must be able to demonstrate loyalty and tenure in your resume and previous career history.
• Strong leadership skills are essential, and you must be able to demonstrate a hands-on leadership approach.
• Transport warehousing or bulk background preferable, e-commerce or wholesale experience highly regarded.
• Must be a confident communicator and great with people.
• Must have a LF Forklift ticket, LO not essential but an advantage.
