Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness of the repair facility by removing and disposing of hazardous or obsolete materials, sweeping, tidying zones, and emptying bins.
- Assistance to Trades: Support tradespeople with their duties as required.
- Material Handling: Safely handle materials, parts, and equipment.
- Tool and Machinery Use: Operate power tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Manual Tasks: Follow management instructions to perform tasks such as moving parts and safe storage of parts.
- Vehicle Cleaning: Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with company standards, using hoses, vacuums, and other equipment.
- Appearance Maintenance: Use cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance vehicle appearance.
- Inspection and Records: Perform inspections and maintain complete, accurate records of vehicle conditions through iBody.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory and request reorder of supplies as needed.
- Area Maintenance: Keep the detailing area clean and tidy.
- WHS Compliance: Adhere to all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies and processes to achieve a zero-harm outcome, reporting and acting on hazards/incidents.
- Ad Hoc Duties: Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Ability to use power tools and machinery safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks.
- Knowledge of WHS policies and procedures.
