Who are you?

You current hold the position of Developer, or similar position with strong technical aspect. You are passionate about quality in both your product and the processes that make your product. You are keen to learn the Smart Communication Conversation Cloud suite of products, specifically the SmartIQ product. You want the opportunity to eventually develop, design, refactor, assess, review, challenge and influence the adequacy of the software deliverables from requirement gathering through to final release.

The responsibilities of the role include:

• Work effectively and efficiently in a cross-functional, self-organizing, and collaborative team to:
  • Develop and execute functional, exploratory, automated tests and system tests to ensure product quality.
  • Prepare and implement test scenarios, design test approaches and coding of automated test suites where relevant.
  • Analysis and review of product requirements, document user stories and contribute to requirements/user story grooming, design and architecture.
• Self-organizing; estimation, planning and managing all assigned tasks and reporting on progress. Take shared responsibility for the overall efforts that the team has committed to during Sprints.
• Participate in Retrospectives, support continuous improvement in all aspects of our Development practices.

Progressively over time the role will expand to scope, design and build product features; develop application component code, provide effort estimates, identify potential problems and recommend alternative solutions.

• Strong technical foundation
• C# .Net Core programming experience (or strong experience in a similar language and keen desire to learn)

Located in the heart of the city in both Sydney and Canberra, our offices are a friendly, tight-knit environment that house our APAC Sales, Marketing, Technology, Customer and Corporate teams. This role has a hybrid setup with occasional work from the office required.
