Developer & Senior Developer

12-month contract | Dickson ACT Location | State Government Agency | Full time position

About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage a Developer and a Senior Developer.These positions are located in their busy Dickson ACToffice for an initial 12-month contract.

Developer Roles & Responsibilities

• Create actionable technical documentation based on gathered business requirements
• Assist with scoping and planning of various CRM related projects and initiatives
• Develop and maintain SFDC Visual Force pages, Apex classes & triggers, and integrations
• Perform routine administration functions for Salesforce.com
• Create documentation, including training documentation and release notes
• Participate with offshore teams across project phases
• Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues

Developer Requirements

• 2-3 years development experience on the Salesforce platform
• Relevant Experience: 2-3 years
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Senior Developer Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage day to day development activities on the salesforce.com platform using Apex and Visual Force
• Support the creation of customizations and integrations required to solution delivery
• Configure the Salesforce.com application based on the business requirements
• Develop custom applications using Apex, VisualForce, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS
• Apply best practices and experience to build Salesforce.com applications.
• Develop estimates for projects
• Work closely with other developers in the team, business analyst, QA analyst and project managers.
• Research Salesforce.com capabilities as needed to suit business requirements, and provide gap analysis

Senior Developer Requirements

• Relevant Experience: 4+ years
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 4 years of application design and development experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing and customizing Salesforce.com application via web services, Apex, SOQL, Visual Force, Eclipse IDE, Data Loader, Reports and Dashboards
• 2+ years of working with clients and vendors developing solutions and supporting projects from requirements gathering to release management
• Experience integrating Salesforce.com with other applications
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines

• Certified Salesforce Developer
• Certified Salesforce Administrator
