What you'll contribute to the position

As a Developer Programmer, you will use technical expertise to design and implement software solutions for our customers. You'll apply your passion for building clean, robust code to large-scale systems. With your well-developed interpersonal skills, you will be an active team member and contribute to delivering customer-focused, optimal quality business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Researching, consulting, designing, analysing and evaluating software applications and systems.
• Testing, identifying, debugging and fixing deficiencies in an applications programming language within established testing protocols, guidelines and quality standards to ensure programs and applications perform to specification.
• Writing, maintaining and testing program code to meet system requirements, system designs and technical specifications in accordance with quality accredited standards;
• Writing, updating, maintaining, implementing and installing technical program, end user documentation and operational procedures.
• Providing advice, guidance and expertise in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities such as financial evaluation and costing for recommending software purchases and upgrades.

Qualification, Skills, Experience

To be considered for this position, the applicant MUST HAVE the following:

• Bachelor or Post-Graduate degree in Computer Science & Software Engineering or related discipline; Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience.
• Other known industry qualifications and certifications would be an advantage e.g. PHP, Livecode, MySQL.
• Solid technical knowledge of IT hardware, software applications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
