The OpportunityWe have an opportunity for a qualified individual to coordinate the activities of the Development HUB and provide support services to Planning & Sustainability, including coordinating and conducting pre-lodgement meetings/advice regarding development and other statutory applications, coordinate the pre-lodgement vetting of applications to ensure that submitted applications meet all statutory requirements and address Council standards.
As Development Advisory Services Coordinator, you will develop, implement, and review standard operating procedures for all stages of development and related applications as well as coordinate the preparation and issue of Section 10.7 Planning Certificates. You will be the lead in monitoring and understanding how the NSW Planning Portal interacts with Council resources and programs and implement continuous improvement in the delivery of e-planning for improved customer service

About YouWe are seeking an individual who holds a tertiary level qualification in town planning, building surveying, or equivalent related discipline and has a current NSW Class C drivers licence.
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Demonstrated experience in the coordination of a team of people responsible for the provision of administrative services.
- High level written and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders and ability to maintain confidentiality where necessary.
- High level of analytical and investigative skills including the ability to interpret planning and development legislation, regulations and guidelines.
- Working knowledge of computer software applications including Microsoft Office, TRIM (or other records management software system), and customer database systems (e.g. Authority).
This is a permanent full time position working 35 hours per week.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $103,365.08 gross per annum, comprising of:
- $1,790.80 per week base salary
- $196.99 per week superannuation (calculated at 11%)
