This commercial, business focused role offers great diversity, world-class support and genuine ongoing career progression opportunities.They are looking for a Development Finance Manager with a passion for business improvement and a strategic mindset to join their expanding team.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Development cost management and reporting including setting up budgets, forecast cash flows, tracking actual costs, reconciliation and variance analysis.
- Maintain property development cashflow models;
- Update IRR/NPV models;
- Notifying the CFO of any problems or risks;
- Build close relationships with all Development managers to ensure that you are providing the best financial advice
- Prepare finance section of the related report for each development;
- Development management fee claims preparation in accordance with the schedule;
- Completion of control testing every quarter in order to meet internal audit standards.
- Assist junior staff members with any concerns or queries they may have, and make sure they are always learning and being challenged.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- CA/CPA qualification with a relevant tertiary qualification
- 5+ years’ experience in the accounting, ideally within the property sector.
- Highly developed analytical skills with advanced excel skills viewed favourably.
- Previous relevant experience in a Development Accounting environment, and ideally knowledge of MRI/Cougar, EstateMaster, YARDI or Argus.
