Role purposeThe Development Manager is accountable for driving and delivering the development process from conceptual stages through all internal and external approvals to final delivery in centres. Reporting to the Regional General Manager this role will develop and implement the agreed redevelopment strategy for the centre, delivering enhanced value to the owners in the short, medium and long term. A contributor to the major tenant strategy across the centre, the Development Manager will develop briefs and scoping documents for master planning initiatives and prepare redevelopment proposals though consultation, approvals and oversee the project execution. What will you bring?
You will have demonstrated experience in developments from concept design stage through to final delivery with a specific focus on high quality customer facing design led developments. Proven experience in leading projects and managing a team of project managers and consultants in the project delivery process is essential. You will have excellent reporting capability, knowledge of budgeting and forecasting coupled with strong leadership and excellent communication skills. You will be known for your ability to manage strategic relationships and an outstanding ability to influence in order to drive positive outcomes. Tertiary qualifications in Property would be well regarded.
