YOUR ROLE
As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate across diverse technologies to assist software development teams in efficiently building, testing, and deploying features. You will focus on ensuring flexibility, adhering to best practices, achieving high performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Your role extends to supporting delivery teams in the effective creation, building, testing, and deployment of software, with a particular emphasis on promoting Continuous Integration practices. You will take the lead in automating deployment pipelines and contribute significantly to the automation of software releases through Continuous Delivery pipelines. Your close collaboration with delivery teams ensures that testing and deployment processes are seamlessly automated, extending to the production environment.
This full-time, permanent role is open for Sydney/ Melbourne/ Christchurch or Auckland locations and involves a hybrid work model.
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a DevOps Engineer with a curious and analytical mindset, someone who enjoys working with numbers. The ideal candidate will possess the following experience:
- Experience in Python Development and pricing.
- Expert-level experience with multiple technologies.
- Container technology such as Docker.
- CI/CD pipeline tooling and repositories (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo, Azure DevOps, Git, Bitbucket)
- Cloud services such as AWS and Azure, including infrastructure-as-code tooling.
- Test Automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Cucumber, Selenium, JMeter).
- Undergraduate/Postgraduate degrees or other qualifications are required to perform the role at a fully competent level (Information Technology/ Computer Science or Mathematics/ Statistics).
