DevOps Engineer - Bank Technology

And due to recent growth, we're on the lookout for a DevOps Engineer to join our talented Bank Technology team. The purpose of the DevOps Engineer role is to build and improve DevOps capabilities for the Bank in support of key strategic initiatives.
The DevOps Engineer will be an active contributor to the Agile SDLC and familiar with DevOps/Continuous Integration and deployment processes. This includes systems analysis, design, development, maintenance & ongoing support. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects as well as support and maintenance of critical systems.
What you'll do
- Highly proficient in delivery of projects using Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Prioritize and drive Automation in delivery
- Embed a DevOps mindset and practices within the team
- Provide input to or develop business systems solutions, estimates and specifications
- Work closely with product management, architects, system & test engineers, and business analysts
- Perform unit and integration testing on developed code
- 5+ years' experience as DevOps / Systems / Software Engineer
- Demonstrated experience working in an agile development and delivery environment
- Experience with DevOps processes and Cloud services (AWS)
- AWS Certification is well regarded
- Experience working with technologies such as Java, Ansible, Groovy, Spring, Bash, Python
- Strong technical background with ability to apply DevOps practices across diverse architectures
- Standard to advanced expertise in Openshift/Kubernetes/EKS or similar containerisation platform
- Experience with Continuous Integration tooling such as Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Bamboo, Azure
