ERH services the Shire of Campaspe and the cross-border Murray River Council. Echuca Moama and townships are located directly across the state border from one another, separated by the Murray River.

We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced Diabetes Educators to work at Echuca Regional Health. This role will play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality diabetes education and support services, both for patients and hospital staff, with a focus on continuous improvement and patient-centered care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Tailor education and support services to meet the unique needs and preferences of each patient.
- Maintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practice.
- Foster a collaborative partnership with patients, empowering them to actively participate in their own care.
- Act as a patient advocate
- Actively participate in in-house education and training programs
- Practice within a professional, ethical and evidence based nursing framework
Our team requires someone who has:
- Proven experience working in similar setting.
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skill
- High level interpersonal skills
- Post graduate studies Diabetes Education
