We have exciting opportunities for experienced Duty Managers to join our Operations teams at our Villages located in the Bowen Basin (Nebo, Coppabella, Moranbah, Dysart, and Middlemount), approximately three hours inland from Mackay, QLD.
This position is permanent night shift, responsible for the continual monitoring of all Civeo's Accommodation and Behavioural policies and procedures. This would be conducted through regularly checking in with departments and facilities (Buildings) throughout the villages, and regular inspections of the village/surroundings.
This position will also be required to respond to emergency situations throughout the village and conduct welfare check at the request of Village Management.
To assist with the Food & Beverage Department, Administration and Village Management with various tasks including auditing, stocktake, conducting welfare checks and administrative duties.
Full-time, Permanent Positions Available.

About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Demonstrated relevant work experience in a management or supervisory level role within the commercial hospitality industry
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a business or hospitality discipline (desirable)
- Certificate II in Security Operations (qualification will be offered to successful applicants who do not hold this)
- A Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (RMLV preferred)
- Advanced First Aid certificate (qualification will be offered to successful applicants who do not hold this)
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening
- A National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain
- Documentation to prove working rights within Australia
- Experience in high volume, fast paced work environments
- Competence to train / assist in staff training
- Capability to work well under pressure
- Excellent computer and administrative skills
- Highly developed financial analysis skills
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Experience with accommodation software packages (preferably RMS9)
- Remote work experience (highly regarded)
- Current Driver's Licence (highly regarded)
- FREE scheduled bus service for Civeo employees who travel from Mackay to the Bowen Basin
