About the Role

The Community Health Dietician will be a valued member of the AWH Community Health Team and will be required to provide a high quality clinical service to community patients presenting with a range of health conditions including specialist clinical areas where relevant (e.g., malnutrition, nutrition support, chronic disease, post surgical patients, neonatal and paediatrics, diabetes and eating disorders).

We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this opportunity.

  • Bachelor of Health Science, Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent and eligibility for membership of the Dieticians Association of Australia.
  • Current Class C driver's License.
  • Competency in the development and delivery of quality Dietetic services.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of nutrition and dietetics within the community setting.
  • Demonstrated evidenced based practices in a range of clinical areas.
  • Demonstrated communication and management skills for working within a dynamic interdisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement processes.
  • Demonstrated commitment to on-going professional development and learning.

Employment Type: This is a part time, 8 hours per week (0.2FTE), 12 month fixed term opportunity.

AWH serves as the largest regional healthcare provider between Sydney and Melbourne, situated in the twin cities of Albury and Wodonga. With a dedicated team of over 3,000 professionals, we proudly service a population of 300,000 across North-East Victoria and Southern NSW.
