Duties and Responsibilities
This role involves a variety of dietitian services provided to clients funded by HCP, CHSP and STRC programs; and/or NDIS participants. The case load can be tailored to your preferences:
- Demonstrate advocacy of Vivir Core Values.
- Assessments of nutrition and dietary requirements for clients with a wide range of disabilities and impairments.
- Supporting dietary requirements for persons with difficulty swallowing and chewing, bowel and intestinal issues and complex co-morbidities.
- Development of individual, evidence-based treatment plans and goals to address any deficits identified in these areas ensuring best practice and the client's individual person-centered plan.
- Communicate assessed needs clearly and precisely to the client and the funding organization within appropriate time frames.
Skills and Qualifications
- Member of Dietitian Association of Australia (DAA), with Provisional or Full APD (Accredited Practising Dietitian) status.
- Drivers’ license and reliable vehicle
- Professional indemnity insurance, or willingness to obtain
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain
- 2023 Flu Vaccine Certificate, or willingness to obtain
- COVID vaccine certificate, or willingness to obtain
